UPCOMING ART FAIRS

ART MARKET BUDAPEST  2021

07- 10 октября 2021

This year, Tuasho gallery was the only one gallery representing emerging Ukrainian artists at the Art Market Budapest. Private cultural diplomacy in action!

We used our stand area (more than 30 m²) to exhibit tender mixed media pieces by Olexii Shcherbak , the oil on gesso birds by Valeriia Vertii, large expressionist canvases by Evgeniy Tkachenko, fantastic oil and acrylic visions by Oleksandr Hrebeniuk , exquisite surrealistic images by Dzmitryi Kashtalyan (BY), a fantasy portrait by Zhannet Podobed, and epoxy resin sculpture objects by Angelika Gonchar . We received an immense feedback amount and did a lot of networking building ties for the future collaborations. Apart from that, two artworks were sold right from the stand!

Hundreds of visitors saw contemporary Ukrainian art, asked about it, and discussed it with us being excited and intrigued. There were many curators, collectors, art students, dealers, and other art professionals among them. We are proud to bring more young artists to international art fairs and show it to the global community!

VOLTA BASEL 2021

20- 26 сентября 2021

This year, we are the only Ukrainian gallery that took part in the Volta Basel Art Fair (an international satellite fair for younger galleries, with prices up to $100,000).

As gallery director and curators Anna Avetova emphasises, we need to participate in art fairs because this is how Ukrainian art becomes visible and more attractive to a foreign audience. Therefore, despite the cost, effort, and all the obstacles, we still received incredible satisfaction from the fact that this happened. We are not going to stop as we do this not only for ourselves but also for the entire Ukrainian art community.

The gallery's stand featured works by Nikita Zigura, Rita Maikova, Yuri Skandakov, Anna Kostritskaya, and Sergey Melnitchenko. Among the works sold, there were Anna Kostritskaya's pasty painting worth €3,000 and a sculpture by Nikita Zigura for €4,000.
